FarmVille Heeler dog: Everything you need to know

FarmVille introduced a new dog -- the Heeler puppy for 65 Farm Cash. Once this dog grows up, it will be able to help harvest cows, which makes sense because Heelers are also known in real life as an Australian Cattle Dog. The heeler comes in gray, black and brown and comes with two weeks' worth of kibble. Also, since this is a cash dog, you don't have to worry about it running away if you don't feed it every day.

FarmVille: New Co-Op Farming Features

In last night's update more features were added to Co-op farming, email and 'Buy More Time'.

Now when joining a FarmVille Co-op, each member will be notified via email. Also farmers now have the option to 'Buy More Time' for their Co-ops for 15$FV ( You will have half of the time for a Gold Medal added to your job ). So for a Town Greening Co-op, you will receive 12 extra hours for 15$FV.

FarmVille Farmer's Market: Everything you need to know

Tonight Channel Zero, FarmVille Community Manager, posted a thread about the much anticipated Farmer's Market on the Official Zynga Forums. This new feature seems to be in limited release, so only a few farmers currently have access. Channel Zero gave a detailed explanation of how the Farmer's Market will work for farmers that are Level 15 and above.

Here is a basic break down of how this new feature will work:

To create a Market Stall

• When you harvest your crops as usual, you will be able to now find bushels, this is done the same way you currently find perfect bunches

Note: All permanent crops will create bushels, LE crops will not.

• After finding your first bushel you will receive a pop-up asking you to place a small building on your farm, that looks much like the Fruit Stand currently available the FarmVille Market

• Farmers will also be able to purchase Market Stalls for 50,00 coins for 20FV$- limit of 5 Stalls per Farm




• Number of Stalls you may purchase for coins is dependent on how many neighbors you have




• Each Market Stall can only sell one crop

Using your Market Stall or Stalls

• When harvesting your crops you will find bushels, these will be automatically added to your Stall and you will be notified by a pop-up above your neighbor bar, much like when you find collectables

The developers of Farmville just got some splendid news from a Russian investment firm. The Digital Sky Technologies firm has agreed to invest $180,000,000 into the social gaming company. This news comes after Zynga announced that its social games are among the most popular on Facebook, with nearly one-third of the Facebook’s users playing their games monthly. According to Virtual Worlds News, Digital Sky Technologies will take a passive role in the company and will not hold a seat or have observer rights on Zynga’s board of directors.
One report claims that Zynga’s company value is now upward to 1.5 Billion dollars.
What does this mean for you? Well for starters this means that all the time you are spending inside games like Farmville and Petville will not be for nothing anytime soon. There is no indication that Zynga will shut down its popular services.
