Cafe World turns up the heat with new Lightening Super Stoves

lightening super stove

First there were Super Stoves, which made it easier to prepare a dish, now Cafe World introduces Lightening Super Stoves, which keeps the one-click cooking and makes the dish cook 5% faster. The stove can be purchased for 45 Cafe Cash (roughly $7), and for now, there's no other way to get one of these other than shelling out for them. We keep hearing that the Build a Super Stove feature will be going away soon, and maybe that's because it will be replaced with a special Build a Lightening Super Stove mini-game. The sooner we can turn up the heat on those recipes, the sooner we can master our favorite virtual dishes.

Cafe World's new Egyptian set gives restaurants the ancient royal treatment

Cafe World: Fit for a Pharaoh
While the patrons in your Cafe World game can't walk like an Egyptian, they can walk into an Egyptian themed restaurant designed by you. Out of the 31 new pieces of decor, which is a pretty small release, exactly 22 items are premium goods requiring Cafe Cash. One US dollar essentially equals 5 Cafe Cash.

Cafe World Spice Rack: Now requires less parts to complete

Cafe World Spice Rack now
only requires 4 of each item
Just last week, Zynga released an update to Cafe World that allowed anyone who hasn't yet completed their Spice Rack to buy the entire thing at a 40% discount. Tonight, the Spice Rack has been made even easier to obtain for those who don't want to spend money to finish it. Instead of requiring 5 of each part (Shelves, Small/Medium/Large Jars, and Lids), players now only need 4 of each piece. This brings the total amount of required Spice Rack parts to 20, which is down from 25 previously.

Cafe World: New Recipes for Advanced Chefs (a.k.a. Level 75)

Today Zynga has announced to all Cafe World chefs that the Cafe World advanced cookbook is almost ready to be unlocked. To get us all excited about it they announced the first four dishes that will be available to the Cafe World professional chefs that are level 75 or higher.

The first four recipes that will be released are Chicken Vindaloo, Osso Buco, Confit de Canard and Kabayaki. I was a bit uncertain what these dishes were from just the names so I did a little digging and here is what I learned. Chicken Vindaloo is an Indian dish and is made with chicken, many spices including curry, onion, chili peppers and garlic. A lot of restaurants add potatoes to the dish and also offer it with lamb instead of chicken. It is also usually one of the hottest types of Indian dishes served.

Cafe World Food Spoiling Rate

An important part of Cafe World is knowing how much time it takes for your food to spoil after it is finished. There’s nothing more frustrating than missing your serving window and logging in to see that your prize dish was sitting on the stovetop for just a little too long. Fortunately, due to some really good detective work in the Cafe World forums the answer is here. This is the formula:
Serving Window = Cooking Time X 1.2
In other words, if your dish takes 60 minutes to cook, you’ll have 72 minutes (60 x 1.2) to serve it before it spoils. Knowing this information will help you plan your Cafe World cooking strategy!

Super Sliders Coming Soon

It looks like there will be a new recipe coming very soon to Cafe World. The new food item is called Super Sliders and from what is mentioned on the Cafe World Facebook fan page, it looks like those will be like mini-cheeseburgers that have more servings than the normal ones. It’s all part of a celebration for reaching 1 million fans on the Facebook page. Wow! They’ll be available on November 17. Here’s the official word from the Facebook fan page:
Hiya chefs! Roll out the red carpet and save the date of Nov. 17th….We hit a million fans today! Here’s a hint to what “Super Sliders” are; smaller burgers that allow more servings and your customers will love em!! Stay tuned for more details about the ‘secret sauce’ and how good it really is… Happy Cooking & here’s to the next million!

Super Sliders are Here

Super Sliders have arrived. They were released about an hour ago as part of the 1 million Fan celebration for Cafe World on Facebook. You’ll find the recipe on the third page of your cookbook, right below where the pot roast is. The super sliders cost 15 coins to make and produce 25 servings at 4 coins each for 100 coins total, or 85 coins of profit. They only take 5 minutes to cook, so they’re an excellent way to earn coins, yielding 17 coins per minute or 1020 coins per hour (not including preparation time).
The best part? They don’t spoil, so if you have to leave your computer for more than a few minutes, you’re not out of luck like you are with other short-cook foods.
Here’s the bad news. They’re only available for two days. So jump in and get cooking!

Mystery Crates Appear

The next time you visit your cafe, you’ll see a new icon over on the left side of the screen. It’s for a mystery crate that you can purchase. The contents are a surprise and the cost is 10 cafe cash if you want to get a box.

Cafe World Medals Have Arrived

After a very long wait with just the words, “Coming Soon” showing up when you clicked on the medal icon in the game, Cafe World medals have finally arrived in the game. It looks like to start there are five different groups of medals that you can earn, in the following categories:
  • Number of Neighbors you have
  • Number of meals you’ve served
  • Coins Earned
  • Gifts Received
  • Consecutive Days Cooking
Some of the new medals count prior activity (Neighbors and meals) and some seem to have started their counters from zero when the medals were released (coins, gifts, days cooking). Also the last three medals appear as locked to most people. I’m researching why this is and will post an update soon. If you know the answer, please leave a comment!

Cafe World Recipe Tables

It can be hard to find good information about all the Cafe World recipes online. Here is a table that shows all the really important data about the different dishes you can serve in the game. You can use this information to decide what to cook for the maximum amount of coins and cafe points. It’s very helpful to plan out your strategies.

Power Leveling in Cafe World

When you start gaining a few levels in Cafe World, you’ll probably start to see that it’s a lot easier to accumulate coins than levels in the game. Pretty soon, most players have piles of coins that they can’t really spend. It would be awesome if there was a way to convert those coins into Cafe Points (CP) so that you could level up faster, wouldn’t it? Well, guess what? There is! It’s a technique called power leveling and it’s pretty simple, although time-intensive, to do.

Cafe Cash Guide

Cafe Cash is a second kind of Cafe World money in Cafe World, the very popular restaurant game on Facebook. Unlike the main currency, coins, you do not earn Cafe Cash from playing the game or by utilizing Cafe World cheats. Although you start with 5 Cafe Cash for free in the game, you must purchase additional Cafe Cash with real money. There are a few exceptions to this. Read on for some help with getting Cafe Cash without having to pay for it!

How To Get More Neighbors in Cafe World

Want to know how to add additional neighbors in the popular Facebook game Cafe World? Keep reading for more info about the importance of neighbors in Cafe World and tips for getting more neighbors without spamming.
To do well in Cafe World, it’s important to have neighbors for your cafe. Visiting your neighbors can be a simple way to get coins and experience points. Each visit earns you 20 coins and 5 experience points; you can visit 20 neighbors max in one day, so that’s 400 coins and 20 experience points right there! While you’re visiting, you can also scope out your neighbors for ideas to implement in your own cafe. What are they cooking? How do they have their cafe set up? What kind of decoration is in place? In return, neighbors can also visit your cafe and tip you coins. More neighbors means more visits and more money!
