FarmVille has released yet another in a series of functional buildings -- this time, it's a Nursery Barn, a place that will house baby foals and calves. Like the Horse Barn released a few months ago, you'll need to acquire supplies from friends to build complete the Nursery Barn construction.
To get started building the Nursery Barn, open your gift box, and you'll find the frame for this new building waiting inside. Drag the barn onto an open spot on your farm. Once placed, then it's time to start begging friends for the 100 supplies needed to complete this new construction project.
Supplies needed for this barn include 10 of the following -- bricks, wooden boards, nails, bottles and blankets. If you had the foresight to save any extra boards and nails from the Horse Barn construction (we didn't unfortunately), then you're already ahead of the game.
Speaking of -- if you're still building your horse barn and receive an item that can be used in either that barn or the new Nursery Barn, you will be allowed to choose which project that item will go toward. It's a nice touch.
To request items, click Ask For More underneath any of the items needed to complete the barn, and you'll be prompted to post a message to your Facebook Wall with your ask. Pro Tip: When posting to your wall, leave a personalized message that lets your friends know what items you need and also thank them for helping out your cause. A little personalization can go a long way...
Another great way to encourage friends to send you items, is by gifting Nursery Barn items to them as well. You will have three random components in your free gift box -- two items that also correspond with the horse barn (any combo of brick, nail or board) and one item (a bottle or blanket) that can only be used in the Nursery Barn. Pro Tip: If your friends need an item that you don't have in your free gifts area, you can gift specific items by clicking on these handy links.

Once your barn is a quarter of the way done (25 items), you'll be able to post a message on your wall -- the first 10 friends who click on the feed will receive a random item for their Nursery Barns.
When you complete the Nursery Barn, you'll be rewarded with a grey foal. The Nursery Barn (see what it looks like in the picture above, image courtesy of FarmVille superstar Anand Deshmukh) will store up to 20 baby foals and calves, and you'll be able to harvest the barn once every 24 hours. Eventually, the barn will be used to turn your collection of babies into full-grown animals. Like the other functional buildings, you will also be able to expand its capacity at some point in the future.
Also, once you complete your barn, you can celebrate with friends by posting a Facebook Wall post -- the first five FarmVille buddies who click on the post will get a Grey Foal as well.
