This is not the pleasant scenario anyone would generally hope to find when they go to play. It is always helpful to know when the best times to feed your fish are. The good thing about feeding the fish in FishVille is that it costs you nothing. Make sure you know when you will need to check back to feed them. You can find this information out by using the pointer tool and hovering it over the fish. A box will show you when to come back and feed them.
The moment your fish hatch from their egg they will need to be fed. After that initial feeding, you can wait twice the amount of the maturation period before feeding them again. For example, if your fish grows at a rate of 5 minutes per level, then you can wait to feed them at intervals of 10 minutes. When any fish reaches the age of 4, you will be able to wait 2 days between feedings.
There are visual cues within FishVille that let you know how needy your fish are. If you see a yellow bubble around a fish food container next to your fish, do not fret. Just like actual fish, they will eat even when they probably shouldn’t. However, if the yellow bubble changes to red then feed them right away so that they do not die.
